What if someone hits u in the back more or less hard, can this misalign a vertebrae? Are the vertebrae bones as strong as any bone in the body? what is the chance of misaligning a vertabrae with a human punch? would it hurt, would u feel anything different if u had a misaligned vertebrae? Can u have a misaligned vertebrae if u had a trauma in the backbone? Will this affect growth?
Answer:
Most people have the power to damage or even break parts of the human spine if they really tried. The vertebrae are rare to break, due to their small size it is more likely the connections will break. Yes, it would hurt. Pain is relative, however. Almost ten years ago I messed up one of the ones in my upper neck and it hurt a great deal. You'd know if one was misaligned. Yes, It can effect growth. If you suspect something is wrong you need to consult a doctor and get x-rays.
