My boyfriend got an Apradavya today (a piercing vertically through the head of his penis) and while the piercer told him it would bleed (he told him to put a towel under him while he sleeps), he's still worried it's bleeding more then normal. Does any one have one of these and what was your experience with how much it bled?

There are a lot of blood vessels in the area, so bleeding might look worse than it is. It's perfectly normal for that type of piercing to bleed for a few days (if it's more like a week, go back to the piercer) Unless it's squirting or gushing, he doesn't have anything to worry about. Make sure he's not taking ASA or pain meds as they can thin the blood. Alcohol does the same, so it's best to avoid for about a week.
He should see a Doctor as soon as possible .He may have a blood disorder or the piercing was not done correctly.
