PLEASE help me stop my hubby snoring!!?

We have already tried snore pressure point ring, mouth guard, throat spray, nasal spray. We are now sleeping in seperate beds and are still honeymooners! I am so depressed about it and desperately need someone to help me by giving us a solution that may work or at least something we haven't yet tried! Thank you guys- Please help!
Answer:
It's possible to treat snoring through lifestyle modifications such as losing weight, quitting smoking, changing sleep habits, and avoiding alcohol and sedatives before you go to bed. If snoring is due to nasal congestion, nasal strips, decongestants, or nasal corticosteroid sprays may be used. If these modifications do not improve the snoring, then it is time to see a doctor.

Gargle alt water before he sleeps that worked for me!
If he's snoring really bad he should go to his doctor and and arrange for a sleep test. He may have sleep apnea, which is a very serious health condition.
what about Breathe Right nasal strips?
You should have your husband see his doctor about a sleep study. Really bad snoring is often a sign of sleep apnea, which can make him really fatigued in the short run and very harmful in the long run. The doctor may order a sleep study, which will reveal if he has this condition. Treatment (non-surgical) involves him using a CPAP (continuous positive airway pressure device); it's kind of a small air pump with a breathing mask. It won't help the bedroom romance when he's wearing it, but at least you can sleep in the same bed.

By the way, I presume he's tried all the usual stuff, like losing weight, not drinking alcohol or caffeine before bed, not sleeping on his back (sew a tennis ball into the back of his sleep shirt!), etc.

Good luck. My *wife* now uses a CPAP, and I can finally get some sleep!
oh my dad does that! he will fall asleep on the couch while we are watching tv so we just hit him really hard and he wakes up a little and stops for a couple minutes and then gets back into it. it is soooooo annoying. we tried to make him wear those bandage thigns but he was too stuborn. there was this one nose spray losenge sort of thing i saw on tv. idk haha.
If hissnoring is really loud and disruptive, chances are good that he has a condition called sleep apnea, which MUST be taken seriously. Untreated sleep apnea not only stresses both the snorer and everyone else in the house who can't get a good night's sleep, it can also lead to heart malfunction and death!

Apnea is easily treated with the use of a night-breathing aid called a CPAP. He must see a sleep doctor before he can get one, as they have to be individually adjusted, but most insurance covers the cost. CPAP eliminates snoring 100% and keeps his heart from being damaged. Surgery is very rarely used to treat apnea, as the success rate is not that good. If he has apnea, the nose strips and other halfway measures will not help.

Please have him ask hisr doctor to refer hi to a sleep doctor or sleep clinic ASAP. These facilities often have a long waiting list, and procrastinating can really damage his health. Do it today.
